MORALITY COMA

Morality Coma was inspired by numerous lengthy discussions that Penny and I had concerning all things sexual. These were conversations that I never thought we'd have, that I never thought we'd need to have. On a superficial level, Penny and I would appear to be total opposites - she was the quiet, repressed intellectual whose interest in sex appeared to be minimal; I was the uninhibited one who had no hang-ups about seeing naked guys on a regular basis in the shared locker room at work. Yet both of us inhabited some kind of psychological swampland in regard to our own feelings, needs and desires. Our obsession with Yami no Matsuei paved the way for conversations we'd never imagined having with each other and for confessions of things we'd tried to keep buried and somehow deal with for years.

Morality Coma is open to contributions from anyone who likes Yami no Matsuei or yaoi in general, and who has felt uncomfortable about some of the issues raised by their reading/watching material. Sure, by far and away the healthiest way to look at things is that it's all harmless fantasy fun, but I'm sure that Penny and I aren't the only ones who *know* this and yet still find ourselves unsettled because fiction *does* say things to us about (our) real lives.
