NAME: Penny Paperbrain

FAVOURITE FANDOMS: Sometimes I feel more like a citizen of the great inter-disciplinary state of fandom than a true believer in particular causes, though goodness knows that when I’m obsessed, I’m obsessed. Apart from YnM, my track record is more on the Western pop culture side. Buffy, Angel, Babylon 5, Tolkien, Douglas Adams, Daria... Many years, many obsessions. But it’s taken YnM and Katsue to make me start writing fanfic.

FAVOURITE BANDS/MUSIC: Concrete Blonde, Sisters of Mercy, Alphaville, Psychedelic Furs, Joni Mitchell, Pulp – search me what the common factor is!

DISLIKES: Vacuity and all who sail in her.

FAVOURITE COLOUR: Purple. No purple contact lenses however. My hair has a burgundy tinge, if that counts.

STAR SIGN: Virgo. Very Virgo. My organisational potency has made grown men blench.

PERSONALITY TYPE: INFP. The same as Tsuzuki, I’m told! The resemblance is not apparent, except in being morbidly oversensitive and eating too much sugar.

BLOOD TYPE: I probably have some blood mixed in with the ice and ichor, that’s all I know.

MOTTO: “I wasn’t born with enough middle fingers.” Actually, that’s not really representative of me at all. I just wish it was sometimes.

FAVOURITE YAMI NO MATSUEI CHARACTER(S): Tatsumi. I love his relationship with Tsuzuki, both from a sap perspective and an, um, not so sap perspective. I also have a big old ambivalent soft spot for Muraki. Mmm, sadists in spectacles...

BEEN INTO YAMI NO MATSUEI SINCE: March 2003. I was minding my own business until Katsue showed me a picture of Tsuzuki, just so I could see what she was into at the moment. A short time and a long fall down the rabbit hole later...
