Area 6 has been even quieter than usual recently, and Watari took advantage of the free time to create a customized version of the classic "Battleship" game.
In this version of the game, the shinigami take part in a training exercise to hone their fighting techniques. Their mission is to disarm their opponent's team before the opponent team manages to disarm *them*.
- Hisoka uses reibaku
Watari uses drawings that he has brought to life
Tsuzuki uses shikigami
Tatsumi uses his shadow skills
This is how the EnmaCho team's battle items are represented on the grid:
| Hisoka's Reibaku | |
| Watari's Living Drawings | |
| Tsuzuki's Shikigami | |
| Tatsumi's Shadows | |
Game Play:
- Your opponent is actually the computer, but all it takes is a little tweak of the script and you can be fighting against Muraki and friends, the cast of X/1999 or whoever else takes your fancy.
- Your aim is to find out where your opponent's team have hidden their reibaku, shikigami, menacing shadows and living drawings and to destroy them.
- Click on any blank grey square in your opponent's grid, and if you get an explosion, you've hit something.
- Your opponent has the same number and length of battle items that you do.
- There are no rules about the sequence in which you click on squares in your opponent's grid. Whether you do so at random or devise a strategy is up to you.
- An alert will tell you if either you or your opponent have destroyed an entire battle item.
- The status bar on your browser will tell you how many and which type of items your opponent has left.
- To win the game, you need to destroy all of your opponent's battle items before they destroy all of yours.
- To start a new game, click the "Refresh" button on your browser.
